Michelle J. Hockett is a hardworking, ambitious dedicated young woman currently living in New York City. She is very passionate about music, pop culture, media branded content, promotions and event management, and would be a great fit for all because of her charisma and dedication to her craft. Currently, Michelle works on the Marketing team for Legacy Recordings at Sony Music Entertainment. Before that, she was on the Content Media team at Spotify where she leads all things advertising, music and promotions for Music and Podcast campaigns. Prior to Spotify, Michelle worked at TIDAL where she lead marketing initiatives for million-dollar artist projects such as album releases, live-streams, experiential events and activations, ticket giveaways and multi-level campaigns in support of today’s top artists in the music industry. In such a short time, Michelle has proven to be a valuable asset to her small team, given tons to responsibility to see a project from beginning to end seamlessly. She is a leader and takes initiative whenever opportunity is given to her. She is also a self-starter as she recently began her own event promotion website targeting young professionals and millennials in NYC. She aims to provide these groups with events and networks to create meaningful connections in niche groups. Michelle has always been interested and heavily involved in brand content and partnerships. She was a brand ambassador for many programs on campus such as Zipcar, EatStreet imPRESS gel manicure and megabus, also while interning with IMG Sports on the client partnerships and events team.

Michelle aspires to continue to work with an entertainment, music, or media company in the future, doing marketing/ events, social/digital media or Public Relations. She enjoys these fields thoroughly and wouldn’t mind even expanding that scope to something else, because she enjoys learning new things.
